Yo, what’s good everybody? We’re finally here for Episode 1 of Fate/Strange Fake!
We actually watched the Episode 0 special—aka Whispers of Dawn—when it dropped… what, 365 days ago? A whole year? Maybe two? (laughs) Nah, it was about a year back. Then Episode 1 came out pretty soon after, but we held off on reacting. We wanted to wait until the show hit a consistent release cadence, which is finally happening at the end of this week.
So now it’s go time. Another Holy Grail War is kicking off, and we’re diving straight in. Episode 1 is titled “The Heroic Spirit Incident.” Let’s see what they’ve cooked up—they’ve been working on this for years, animation looks crisp, budget’s there. (They used to be handled by the Demon Slayer studio too, so expectations are high.)
