Yoo Jae Suk and Jo Se Ho’s “You Quiz on the Block,” which aired its 204th episode on July 26, had Namgoong Min as one of the guests.

As the segment continued, the duo spent time sharing stories with Namgoong Min, and the actor honestly confessed about his past.
The “Hot Stove League” star revealed that he was a mechanical engineering student at a prestigious university before becoming an actor.
Namgoong Min mentioned that while he was pursuing his education, it was also the time he decided to establish a career in the entertainment industry.
Even though he did not specify more about his university life, he shared a glimpse of his past before debuting as a celebrity.

Namgoong Min, who can perfectly play all sorts of roles, also revealed that when he was still starting to carve his path in the field, he received unreasonable treatment on set.

According to him he felt humiliated when a gust of wind blew and knocked over the lighting stand, and they blamed him for something he didn’t do.
He added that he was the source of bad takes, so he had to apologize every time.
Even though he had always been the target since he was still a rookie, he continued to work hard as he was really passionate about acting.
After years of collecting experiences from his past projects from minor roles to finally leading his own dramas, Namgoong Min earned big respect from his colleagues and the public.

The award-winning actor will make his drama comeback through “My Dearest” this 2023, alongside Ahn Eun Jin.
According to him, he was already booked until 2029 and will become busier in the upcoming months for his back-to-back projects.
