Park Kang Hyun Makes His 1st Feature Editorial in Singles
On July 26, for its August issue, Singles dropped its visual pictorial of musical actor Park Kang Hyun.
The rising star took his first step with KBS2’s “Heartbeat.” He is enjoying learning various things by playing the role of a vampire hunter Shin Do Sik in his first-ever drama.

Park Kang Hyun is active on stage plays as it has been his artistic ground to express and showcase his talent in acting and singing. As he entered the drama industry, the starlet has nothing but to be grateful and optimistic for a new path to walk on.
‘Heartbeat’ Star Park Kang Hyun Finally Living His Dream
The 33-year-old actor expressed how his dream finally became his reality.
“I imagined that I would like to challenge myself in acting in a drama at the end of last year, but now, I am in the process of achieving that dream.”
“Heartbeat” narrates the story of a half-human and half-vampire, Seon Woo Yeol (Ok Taecyeon), who aims to become a human to find his first love.

Park Kang Hyun takes the role of Shin Do Sik, who needs Woo Yeol’s blood to cure his illness and live. He is a handsome and intuitive guy who puts his respect for other people before his own heart.
Even though it is his first small screen project, Park Kang Hyun is said to have been professional in reading scenes and scripts. He practices several times before filming to fully immerse himself in the character.
Park Kang Hyun Continues to Prosper His Career as Musical Actor
On the other hand, Park Kang Hyun, who stars as a producer in “Phantom Singer” Season 4, will also show his affection for the series, as he wanted to sing the drama’s OST.
Adding to his bucket list is to produce a solo album filled with ballads and lyrical songs expressing his genuine emotions.

The “Heartbeat” actor began his career in theater in 2011 through “Immortal Songs: Singing the Legend.”
In 2016, he made an appearance in “Video Star Season 1.” The following year, Park Kang Hyun became a regular member of “Phantom Singer Season 2,” and continues to showcase his skills on stage while also working on his drama debut.
