No way! No way they just killed him like that!

Bro, I knew it was too good to be true when they were trying to convince me the war was gonna end that easy. All that ‘surrender’ talk, ‘Oh yeah, guys, we’re both surrendering! Nobody’s fighting anymore!’—nah, I wasn’t buying it for a second.

It’s always Baroque Works pulling some sneaky infiltration, wreaking havoc from the shadows. I forget how many thousands of agents they’ve got—thousands! They’ve been here forever, positioned everywhere.

[Sigh] I knew it was gonna go bad somehow. I had my hopes up, but it was too quiet for too long. Showing that calm before the storm, and I was like, ‘Oh, he’s gonna die, isn’t he?’ For a second I thought maybe Crocodile would reveal himself, but nah—that’d fumble the whole plan. Right now only the top brass like the king know he’s the bad guy.

If Crocodile shows his hand to everyone, the surrender falls apart. So of course they pull this. Bro, that sucks.

They’re too good with cliffhangers in One Piece. Way too good. I don’t even know if he’s actually dead—they’re masters at this torture.

Alright, it’s a good episode. What a good episode—painful, but good.

What’d you guys think of that ending? Pell gone just like that? Baroque Works sabotage? Drop your reactions and theories in the comments—did you see it coming?
