Hell’s Paradise S2 Episode 4 Reaction
Welcome back! Hi, I’m Pres. I’m Cara. We’re diving into Hell’s Paradise Season 2, Episode 4—picking up right where we left off.
We had that emotional goodbye/father send-off scene last time—man, it was really nice seeing Hell’s Paradise pull off something that heartfelt. Perfect timing for that character, especially on his deathbed, end-of-life vibes. His plot had reached a natural point where it was okay to let him go.
And now, the reinforcements are finally showing up on the island! That’s what I’m most hyped for—how do they stack up? Do they even know what’s coming? Are they prepared for the madness they’re about to witness? Part of me thinks they are, but I just wanna see that new kid in action. Is he actually as powerful as he talks? Let’s find out!

This episode is cool because you just don’t know what’s gonna happen next— so much newness! I adore the new characters. That uncomfortable crying scene? Guy’s clearly not mentally all there, and then chipping his own sword… that proved it. Like, ‘This is my last thing—can’t sharpen it for me anymore.’ That was the final thread holding him somewhat human. Now? He’s going over the edge. Totally agree.
Our dragon guy—I feel like he’s gonna be the one rushing to fight these newcomers. He’s cocky, wants the smoke, and turns out he’s better than we thought—100%. But against this new group? No idea where he stands. He might not win, but he’ll be the first to throw down.
Season 2 has already exceeded Season 1 for me—story, development, everything. S1 took time to build, but that setup was worth it. Now they’re layering in why Sagiri was the only ranked female (lowest rank too), how she was looked down on for being a woman, and it all clicks. Building these characters through each other so nicely.
I do wonder why he was so adamant about giving Sagiri a rank—was it just friendship? Feels like deeper connection. Once he cares about someone, he goes zero to a hundred—commits fully. That can be good or bad, but his skills make up for it right now. He took out those creatures no sword needed—another level to him.
He’s got that two-sided thing: killed all those people (women, children), then overly emotional. Even his supposed friend isn’t 100% sure about him—that says a lot. Insane but loyal in his way.
We’ll wrap it up here. If you guys enjoyed, drop a like, comment your takes, and we’ll see you next time for Episode 5. Have a great day—bye!
