More Than a Married Couple Episode 5 Reaction
Cara & Brett react to More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers (Fuufu Ijou, Koibito Miman) Episode 5—”More Than a Nosebleed, But Less Than a Kiss”! After Episode 4 gave a small boost to our enjoyment (Watanabe starting to click a bit more), we dive into this one feeling the rom-com potential finally heating up.
Akari’s confusion is on full display—she’s the epitome of a flustered teen (even at 17-18), pushing Jirou away then pulling him in, teasing hard while craving a reaction. Her coping? Full-on bold moves (that lap-straddle rotation from back to front? Wild!), but then she teases him for not reacting… only to get upset if he does. Virgin Koon mode activated! Jirou’s not resisting as much, and the tension builds to a steamy almost-moment interrupted by a classic nosebleed. Super cute, spicy, and relatable awkwardness.
We’re both vibing with this episode the most so far—Akari’s character is growing on us big time (better understanding her mechanisms makes early eps retroactively funnier), banter feels natural, and the spark is flickering! At halfway-ish point in a short series, glad it’s clicking instead of rushing or fizzling. No diabetes yet, but getting closer.
What do you think—Akari’s jealousy/frustration arc hitting hard? Jirou’s boldness with her? Drop thoughts below!
