From the start, that Zeppeli family legacy hits hard. William A. Zeppeli sacrificed himself for Jonathan in Phantom Blood, and now history’s repeating with Caesar. The confrontation felt forced and unnecessarily rage-fueled, but I get it—family and honor are everything to the Zeppelis. Caesar charges in alone against Wamuu, ignoring Joseph’s “wait for night/sun” plan (traps in the mansion, fight outside in sunlight, destroy the building if needed—Stroheim could’ve called in German nukes lol). But Caesar’s pride and rage take over.

And then… that fight. Caesar almost had it—he was at the finish line, Bubble Launcher ready to win. But the most unlucky shadow drop from Wamuu’s warrior instincts? Brutal. Caesar’s final Hamon bubble speech about Zeppeli tradition, honor, legacy… and Wamuu’s ultimate respect as a fellow warrior? Drawing in the Hamon with wind, refusing to let it fade, saying “a man as splendid as fleeting as his bubbles”—warrior poet shit. Wamuu earns ultimate respect, can’t even hate him. He’s HIM.

Dabi-level emotional exhaustion after this. The narrator not confirming Messina’s death? Messina’s still alive somewhere, probably hearing Joseph cry over Caesar for the 17th time like “guys… I’m right here… help?” 😂

JoJo deaths are handled like no other—bizarre comedy gaps make the tragedy hit harder. Lisa Lisa grabbing the cigarette backwards? Peak contrast. Rest in peace Caesar… that was some fucking peak content. Best episode of JoJo I’ve seen so far—Thundercrust close second with Bruford, but this one… wow.

What’d you think? Wamuu respect level maxed? Emotional gut punch or expected? Drop thoughts below—no spoilers pls!
